Review of Rademaker seminars on September 18th and 19th
On the 18th and 19th of September Rademaker hosted two seminars at their headquarters in Culemborg, The Netherlands. The first seminar “High-Tech in Bakery” was held in honor of the official opening of the new Rademaker R&D Centre. The second seminar “Health in the bakery industry” focused on the Dutch and Belgian market and was jointly organized with Puratos and the Dutch Boulangerie Team. For both days a special dome tent was built, in which the presentations of the various speakers took place.
During both seminars, representatives of various organizations gave presentations about trends, insights and technological developments concerning health topics and hightech influences in the bakery industry.
A beautifully decorated and delicious lunch ended the morning sessions. Special breads for the lunch were made by the Dutch Boulangerie Team, but there was also a Cryo-cooking experience.
After lunch, the program continued with guided tours and demonstrations around various departments on the Rademaker premise. For example, there was a demonstration of the Boulangerie Team in the test bakery, a showcase was given on the Crusto breadline and a guided tour through the production halls and newly opened R&D centre.
The High-Tech in Bakery seminar ended on an inspiring note, with a presentation by the Solar Team Eindhoven, given by the 2 founders of the Solar Team, Roy Cobbenhagen and Lex Hoefsloot.
Both seminars concluded with a festive drink where the impressions of the day could be discussed while enjoying delicious bites.
